Are You Ready To Meet GOD?

Thank you for visiting our web-site. We are blessed by it. Before you leave, we would like to take the liberty of addressing a most important matter for your attention, that is, the consideration of your future. We offer four vital questions to ponder:

1. How are you faring in life?
2. Does your future look bright or foreboding?
3. What will become of you after your life on earth?
4. Will there be a judgment of you by GOD?

There is an urgent need for each person reading this, who has never seriously addressed this crucial subject, to answer these questions right now! No one is guaranteed he will be physically alive tomorrow, neither you or anyone else. It is, therefore, a matter of urgency. Death is a heart-beat away!

The way you answer these questions involves your future not only in your remaining time left on this earth but forever. Again we ask, is your future bright? Is there hope after the grave? Are you ready to meet GOD? The Holy Bible is the only source in the world that can answer these vitally important questions in truth and with hope.

The Holy Bible, along with our conscience, makes it clear each of us is not an accident, each is an incident. Each life comes into being by GOD’s Providence. Each and every person is valuable. Each is made in the image of GOD. By GOD we live and move and have our being.

The Holy Bible, along with nature, makes it clear there is more to our beings than living a short period on earth and then, that’s it, the end of existence. In every person there is the constant planning for our future: in school, in career, in life, in retirement. Will our futures just end at death?

In every person there is an ideal for justice. No honest person rejoices in a criminal getting away with murder. Will justice not be served at the end of life and at the end of the world? In nature, a tulip blossoms in its time, vanishes away during the cold winter season but comes to life again in the spring. A caterpillar entombs itself and in its time becomes a butterfly. A seed is planted in the ground, dies, and comes to life again as a stalk with fruit that provides life. Will man just remain in the grave and not be resurrected in GOD’s time?

The Holy Bible states it is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgment. He will die physically but be resurrected to face judgment and an eternity in either heaven or hell.

The Holy Bible also makes it clear that it is GOD who not only gives life but sustains it. It is GOD who keeps us alive. We, therefore, must place all self-reliance, self-importance, self-esteem, and any reliance on science, intelligence, health, politics or military power in subjection to the understanding that all of us are totally dependent on GOD.

The truth is, the more we have, the more we are in debt to GOD. The truth is, we can't keep ourselves alive for one second. The truth is, we can't move the sun. We can't move the moon. We can't move the oceans. The truth is, we can’t stop time. We can’t stop aging. We can’t stop death. The truth is, we can’t even stop from catching a cold. As a matter of fact, without GOD, we would all be utterly consumed.

In the same way, we are all powerless in spiritual matters without GOD. We can not see that we are all sinners, without GOD giving us spiritual life through God the Holy Ghost, the third person of the Triune God. We can not see the vileness and death associated with sin, without GOD opening our spiritual eyes. We can not understand that sin separates us from a Holy and Righteous GOD, who will not countenance sin. Without GOD opening our spiritual understanding, each of us would be unenlightened and lost.

We can neither stop sin individually nor culturally, on our own. We are all totally dependent on the All-Mighty GOD of the Holy Bible and His Great Goodness, Justice, and Mercy. And we certainly can not be cleansed from our sin so that we can live in, and for, GOD, without being redeemed through JESUS CHRIST. By faith in JESUS CHRIST we are saved. Faith comes from GOD and is found in His Word. The Holy Bible states in Romans 10:17, “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” It is the faith of JESUS CHRIST that saves those who believe for HE is the Word of GOD and the Theme of the Holy Bible.

The Holy Bible states JESUS CHRIST is the Promised One, with over 300 prophecies of the Old Testament fulfilled in Him. HE is the Messiah. He is the Savior. HE is the Only Begotten Son of GOD and the Second Person of the Triune GOD. JESUS CHRIST left the glory of the GOD-Head and became man. HE was born as a babe in a manger in Bethlehem, lived a perfect, sinless life on earth, lighted (and still lights) a dark world, and died on a cross for mankind’s sins. The Holy Bible states HE was holy and without any sin, yet HE became sin for us. HE rose again from the dead on the third day after His Death on a cross, defeating sin, satan and death. His death and resurrection, which bought eternal life for His Elect, were planned before the foundation of the world.

While JESUS CHRIST was dying on the cross, GOD the FATHER laid on HIM all the sins of all believers in all generations. In addition to their sin, GOD laid the punishment of their sins on His Only Begotten Son.

This punishment according to the Holy Bible was death. The death spoken of was spending an eternity in hell. Because JESUS CHRIST is fully GOD and became fully man HE alone was able take this punishment for His Elect of all generations. JESUS CHRIST being Infinite GOD, was able to take this infinite punishment upon Himself. At the same time, by JESUS CHRIST becoming a man, HE was able to serve as a sinless Substitute for man by suffering the punishment that each believer deserves for his sins.

And since HE arose from the dead, JESUS CHRIST is alive, today; at the Right Hand of GOD the Heavenly Father, continuing His Saving Work. HE is coming again in the fullness of time, according to the FATHER’s Time-Table, to bring an end to the current world by fire and to usher in the Glorious, Eternal, Holy Kingdom of GOD where sin, satan, demons, iniquity, those who do not obey His Gospel, and death will be locked out.

JESUS CHRIST’s ultimate Sacrifice was done to meet GOD’s Perfect Justice. Sin and its associated vileness, corruption, misery and death was not and can not be overlooked. It had to be paid-in-full to fulfill GOD’s Perfect Justice.

Sin is an affront against GOD. It is, therefore, GOD, by His Great Mercy and Justice, who can forgive sin because it is HE Who sinners transgress against when they sin. In Psalm 51 we read, “Against Thee (GOD) only have I sinned and done this evil in thy sight.” It is only through GOD that forgiveness is made and justice is served.

The Holy Bible states all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD. Each individual is accountable and responsible for his sins. The penalty for these sins is GOD’s Judgment and eternal damnation. If GOD saves you from this judgment that means JESUS CHRIST took your deserved punishment. HE is your Substitute. The wrath of GOD - for your sins - will pass over you because the Blood of JESUS CHRIST will cleanse you from them.

John 6:28 states, "Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."

The following paraphrased story underlines the truth of what Christians call amazing grace…

David Morse, an American missionary to India, became best friends there with the renowned pearl-diver, Rambhau. Many evenings he spent in Rambhau's cabin reading to him from the Holy Bible and explaining to him GOD's way of salvation through JESUS CHRIST.

Rambhau enjoyed listening to the Word of GOD, but whenever the missionary shared the Gospel with Rambhau, he would shake his head and reply, "Your Christian way to heaven is too easy for me! I cannot accept it. I want to earn my place in heaven-and so I am going to work for it."

Nothing the missionary could say seemed to have any effect on Rambhau, and so quite a few years slipped by.

One evening Rambhau came to his friend Morse and urgently invited him to his home.

Rambhau, now old, said he would be shortly leaving to go to Delhi. He explained to the missionary that he desired to work for his place in heaven so he would make the 900 mile trip on his knees. The missionary did all he could to persuade him not to go, but to no avail.

Rambhau affirmed, “The suffering will be sweet for it will purchase heaven for me!"

The missionary once again proclaimed the Gospel to him, “JESUS CHRIST has suffered and died to purchase heaven for all that HE will save.

Morse pleaded with him but the old man could not be moved.

Before he was to leave on his journey, Rambhau wanted to share a secret he had withheld from his good friend, the missionary. He went into his room and brought out a strong box.

"I have had this box for years," said he, "and I keep only one thing in it. Now I will tell you about it, Sahib Morse. I once had a son..."

"A son! Why Rambhau, you have never before said a word about him!"

"No, Sahib, I couldn't." Even as he spoke the diver's eyes were moistened. "Now I must tell you, for soon I will leave, and who knows whether I shall ever return? My son was a diver, too. He was the best pearl diver on the coasts of India. He had the swiftest dive, the keenest eye, the strongest arm, the longest breath of any man who ever sought for pearls. What joy he brought to me! My boy always dreamed of finding the 'perfect' pearl, one without blemish or defect - one beyond all that was ever found. One day he found it! But even when he saw it-he had been under water too long...That pearl cost him his life, for he died soon after."

The old pearl diver bowed his head. For a moment his whole body shook, but there was no sound.

"All these years," he continued, "I have kept this pearl, but now I am going, not to return, and to you, my best friend, I am giving my pearl."

When the old man pulled up the pearl from the strongbox, Morse could not believe his eyes. It was one of the largest pearls ever found off the coast of India and glowed with a luster and brilliance never seen in cultured pearls. It would have brought a fabulous sum in any market.

"Rambhau! What a pearl!"

"That pearl, sahib, is perfect," replied the Indian quietly.

The missionary looked up quickly, with a new thought. Was not this the very opportunity and occasion he had prayed for - to make Rambhau understand the value of CHRIST's sacrifice? So he said, designedly, "Rambhau, this is a wonderful pearl, an amazing pearl. Let me buy it. I’ll give you $10,000 dollars for it.”

"Sahib! What do you mean?"

"Well, how about $15,000 dollars? If it takes more, I will work for it."

"Sahib," said Rambhau, stiffening his whole body, "this pearl is beyond price. No man in all the world has money enough to pay what this pearl is worth to me. On the market one million dollars could not buy it. I will not sell it to you. You may only have it as a gift."

"No, Rambhau, I can not accept that. As much as I want the pearl, I can not accept it that way. Perhaps I am proud, but that is too easy. I must pay for it, or work for it..."

The old pearl diver was stunned. "You don't understand at all, Sahib. Don't you see? My only son gave his life to get this pearl, and I wouldn't sell it for any money. Its worth is in the lifeblood of my son. I cannot sell this…but I can give it to you. Just accept it in token of the love I bear you."

The missionary was choked up, and for a moment could not speak. Then he gripped the hand of the old man.

"Rambhau," he said in a low voice, "don't you see? My words are just what you have been saying to GOD."

The diver looked long and searchingly at the missionary, and slowly, slowly he began to understand.

"GOD is offering to you salvation as a free gift," said the missionary. "It is so great and priceless that no man on earth can buy it. Millions of dollars are too little. No man on earth could earn it. No man is good enough to deserve it. It cost GOD the lifeblood of His Only SON to make the entrance for you into heaven. In a million times a million years, in infinite pilgrimages, you could not earn that entrance. If you can see this, cry out to GOD for mercy because of your terrible sins that you committed against Him, and that cost so infinitely much, and know of GOD’s Great Mercy, Love, and Salvation through JESUS CHRIST.

Rambhau, of course I will accept the pearl in deep humility, praying GOD I may be worthy of your love. Rambhau, can you receive GOD’s great gift of heaven through JESUS CHRIST?

Great tears were now rolling down the cheeks of the old man. The veil was beginning to lift by GOD's amazing grace.

"Sahib, I see it now. I have believed in the doctrine of JESUS CHRIST for the last two years, but I could not believe that His salvation was free. Now I understand. Some things are too priceless to be bought or earned.”

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

When we see a cross and truly understand what it represents, the sacrificial love and suffering JESUS CHRIST endured, the love and pain of GOD the Heavenly Father Who withstood watching His Beloved, Only Begotten Son suffer His Wrath for mankind, we understand this is the greatest act of history. Words cannot describe the beauty and love and suffering and power and victory and redemption and light and life found at the cross of JESUS CHRIST. When you understand, you begin to grasp that you are truly bought with a great price. And yet no person can entirely understand the depth of agony and suffering that GOD the FATHER, GOD the SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST and GOD the HOLY GHOST endured to save mankind from eternal destruction.

Nineteenth-Century Preacher, Charles Spurgeon wrote, “The HOLY SPIRIT implants divine life in a man’s soul and makes a precious deposit which none of the refinements of education can equal. The thief on the cross excels Caesar on his throne… Life is the badge of nobility in the realm of spiritual things. Men without it are only coarser or finer specimens of the same lifeless material. They all need to be made alive, for they are dead in trespasses and sins.”2

To be made spiritually alive is accomplished by GOD. It is not accomplished by the reforming of our lives through some 10-point self-help plan nor is it a decision we make but it is accomplished by being born again! We must be empowered from GOD with spiritual life because absent salvation we are spiritually dead. A dead person has no power. Only GOD creates life. It is a gift – the gift of a life - that is given to us. It is nothing we can do, it is nothing we can work for, salvation is of the LORD.

Regarding receiving JESUS CHRIST, the Holy Scriptures state in John 1: 12-13, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

This is the Great Goodness and Mercy of Almighty GOD who created and sustains this universe and yet bids us, “Come”. We, who are spiritually dead, unholy creatures, can only come to our Most Holy Creator GOD because GOD awakens us, draws us, and gives us life and power to do so through the Door and by the Blood of JESUS CHRIST which cleanses us from sin and makes us holy. If called by GOD, we must become aware and confess our sins before GOD with all our heart, in fearful reverence, and ask GOD in prayer to forgive our sins through JESUS CHRIST, Who came into the world to save sinners.

To be empowered to do this involves GOD the HOLY GHOST indwelling each believer so that he is born again spiritually. The Holy Scriptures state that “the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by God the Holy Ghost.” GOD the HOLY GHOST gives each child of GOD, spiritual life, so that he will understand that JESUS CHRIST is Master of his life to the glory of GOD the Father. JESUS CHRIST died on a cross and rose again. We too will die and rise again to live in either heaven or hell, forever.

If a person dies in JESUS CHRIST he will live in eternal bliss in heaven with GOD because his sins will be forgiven by His Blood. He will be accepted in the Beloved and saved. If a person dies without JESUS CHRIST, he will live in eternal torment in hell separated from GOD because his sins will not be redeemed by the only One who could pay them for him. He will be lost. May God empower you to receive the free, yet infinitely costly, gift of JESUS CHRIST today. And those that are in Him, may GOD help Christian believers to present their bodies as living sacrifices, holy, pure, and fit for heaven.

God raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory so that our faith and hope may rest in God.

"You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for you created all things, and by your will they exist and were created." Revelation 4:11
