 Powerful forces of modern culture tell us to Celebrate Diversity! If we don't on our own, the government will make us. The justice department might investigate us. The IRS could audit us. The media and educators will shame us. So why not celebrate diversity? It's a good thing, isn't it? No, absolutely not! Diversity, as the culture promotes and the government enforces, is sinful and just plain wrong! This diversity is not Biblical nor is it godly. It should be fought by good people of all races. It is leading America to dis-unity, division, and a populace made up of factions fighting one another.
On the other hand, there is a diversity the Holy Bible speaks of, which should be embraced. This diversity leads to unity, harmony and a one-ness in JESUS CHRIST.
So, there is a cultural diversity that is sinful and a Biblical diversity that is commanded by GOD.
What's wrong with cultural diversity? Forcing racial, ethnic, gender or religious diversity through quotas and affirmative action is immoral and violates the Commandments of GOD as to lying, stealing and coveting. Telling people who to hire and promote, where to live and who to associate with violates our freedoms expressly given to us under the Constitution. Promoting diversity and sensitivity classes in school and the work place are forms of propaganda taken out of the godless Communist handbook.
Under the name of cultural diversity, President Clinton announced before applause and ovations in '98 at a college graduation and again in '99 before the Governors of the US that "in less than 50 years white people will no longer be a majority in the US" - as if White people were some form of pestilence and not worthy to live in America as a majority or perhaps even as a minority. Imagine if President Clinton made the same statement but instead changed a couple of words and said to the same applause that in less than 50 years black people will no longer be a majority in Washington DC. Diversity has the strong stench of an anti-White racism that should be fought by good people of all races.
In the name of cultural diversity, up to 3,000 black farmers nationwide who say they were unfairly denied govt. loans will share a $375 million settlement "worked out" by the Clinton Administration Agriculture Dept. By not going to court, it was never proven that these loans were wrongly denied because of the race of each farmer or were rightly denied because each farmer was not able to qualify for the loan due to their financial state. Diversity has the strong stench of a pay-off, injustice, unfairness and corruption.
In the name of cultural diversity, minority religions are not merely tolerated but welcomed. In Fort Hood, America's largest military post, confessing witches who are members of the "new' US Army are conducting ritual services honoring satan. At the same time Chaplain John Walton, who worked as a Pastor for 51/2 years, was required to undergo sensitivity training at the Army Chaplain School in New Jersey. When he graduated, Walton was told to keep the name of JESUS CHRIST out of his sermons, to stick to "God" instead. When he refused, his name was removed from a roster of preachers for Sunday service. When the US Army sanctioned the Fort Hood wicca service, Walton quit the chaplain corps. Diversity has the strong stench of violating Constitutional freedoms, hating Christianity and trying to destroy the Constitutional republic this nation is supposed to represent and the Christian influence that has been the bedrock of this same republic for some 190 years.
The most visible and perhaps most powerful institution in the US is the media. It has certainly kept up with the diversity requirements the culture imposes. There are certainly diverse percentages of men and women, blacks, whites and other minorities represented in the media. Yet, the most important diversity requirement for an industry such as the media, has no diversity! What?! That's what I said the media has no diversity in this especially important area! Should we call the justice department or the E.E.O.C.? What could it be? It is diversity of political and philosophical thought. In this area, there is no diversity, to speak of. From the broadcasters and reporters to the journalists, writers, producers, directors, executives to the TV and movie stars, virtually all subscribe to a liberal, humanist, anti-Christian or Christian neutral philosophy. This philosophy permeates all of their work and there is no Christian or conservative perspective to speak of, in the big media, major newspapers and magazines, TV and movies, today. There is no need to call the Clinton Justice Department or the EEOC or the Washington Post or NBC or Harvard University or the American Civil Liberties Union or the NAACP because they don't care about, and actually fight, diversity of thought. We are not allowed that kind of diversity that is also known as freedom. Diversity has the strong stench of a hypocritical, double standard that affirms its falsehood.
Celebrating diversity is to celebrate a means to foster political, social and religious change, contrary to Christianity and Western Civilization.
Some may say even with all of diversity's bad points it is good for blacks and women. In the short term, it may be good, financially, for some blacks and women, but the financial gain is ill gotten. Just as diversity programs unjustly help minorities because of their race, these programs at the same time injure and deprive millions of White people of just gain because of their race. We should love our neighbors as ourselves. "For the love of money is the root of all evil:" I Timothy 6:10. In the long run, those in real power who promote diversity do not have the best interests of blacks, women or anyone else in mind, diversity is simply a political tool for the building of a new world order. This new world order will be completed in nations where injustice reigns, truth is not present, and the people are divided, morally bankrupt, and moving in different directions. What better tool than diversity to brings division, dis-unity, infighting and chaos. And at the root of this political change is the age-old spiritual battle, the battle against the Truth of Christianity and for the soul of each man, woman and child. No one, black or white, man or woman, should celebrate this diversity.
The real diversity that we should seek, and celebrate, is found in the Holy Bible, as is all truth. No matter of race, gender, age, nationality, or vocation each person is made in the image of GOD and has dignity and great value. GOD never makes duplicates only originals. Each person has a gift from GOD. The Holy Bible declares in I Corinthians 12: 4, "Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit." A Black Christian man from Washington DC, and a White Christian man from Germany, and an Asian Christian man from Hong Kong will have the same attributes and world-view. Though their characteristics may vary in consistentcy from individual to individual, love, joy , peace, patience, kindness goodness meekness and faithfulness will mark them all.
"For as the body is one and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit." I Corinthians 12:12-13
In Jesus Christ and by the indwelling and leading of the Holy Ghost, each member belongs to the other.
We are called to be a united body of believers under the union of JESUS CHRIST in humility. We should not think ourselves more than we ought but be humble, loving one another and carrying one another's burdens. This applies to all of us.
Pride has to guarded against. It is displeasing to the LORD and will ruin the harmony of a united Christendom. Charles Spurgeon a preacher and Bible teacher of the 19th Century, said, "Oh believer, learn to reject pride, seeing that you have no ground for it. Whatsoever you are, you have nothing to make you proud. The more you have, the more you are in debt to GOD. If HE has made you anything, are you not taught it is grace which has made you to differ? You would have been a great sinner if GOD had not changed you. Therefore, do not be proud, though you have a large estate a wide dominion of grace, once you did not have a single thing to call your own except your sin and misery."
We should work to display unity in Truth and love which makes us more effective for the Kingdom so JESUS CHRIST may be won in the hearts of those that don't believe.
